Hello Everyone,
Here we are at the end of 2020 … and maybe on the threshold of forever? But since we are still here and not raptured yet, here is this week’s bulletin and lyric sheet.
Sincerely,
Pastor Dave

Snow date—January 24, 2021.
Hi Everyone,
Due to the cancellation of services the last two weeks of December we are changing the date for our annual meeting to January 17, 2021 with the snow date being then the following Sunday — January 24, 2021. This gives us more time to prepare and to give notice, such as making it possible to distribute the 2021 proposed budget two weeks before. Thank you for understanding.
Sincerely,
Pastor Dave

Bulletin for Sunday – December 20, 2020
Hello All,
Well, quite a week. So happy for my negative result on the COVID-19 test. So sad that we aren’t going to have in-person services for two weeks. Just think how happy we will be to see each other on January 3, 2021. Yay!
Here is our bulletin and the song insert for this week.
My plan is to record the service in the morning, edit video, upload to our YouTube channel, burn DVDs and have everything ready for Sunday morning church.
We have made a list for the DVDs. Please let me know if you want to make sure that you receive one. I don’t think we have overlooked anyone. Kerry and I will be delivering DVDs either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. 🙂
Sincerely,
Pastor Dave
YAY! Pastor Dave test negative for COVID-19. Woo-hoo!
Hello Everyone,
Good news on this Thursday morning. I tested negative for COVID-19. Got the results earlier this morning. I thought this would be what would happen as I have been monitoring my temp and have felt great, but it is good to get the official word.
Please note that this does not change our plans. We still will not have church this Sunday. Lord willing, I will have everything uploaded and DVDs delivered so we can all have Sunday church this Sunday … but at home. 🙂
May God continue to richly bless you on the path of Jesus Son of God.
Sincerely,
Pastor Dave
Cancellation of services on December 20 and December 27, 2020
Hi Everyone,
This is the text of a letter (and an email) that is being sent to our members and our regular attenders. The cancellations are due to Pastor Dave possibly being exposed to the COVID-19 virus. Read the letter for details.
Sincerely,
Pastor Dave
But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn,
which shines brighter and brighter until full day.
(Proverbs 4:18 ESV)
December 15, 2020
Dear People of God—the Sheep of His Pasture,
This has been quite a year and our adventure continues. I hope that each of us can see that God has been overabundant in caring for the people of his pasture here at Faith Fellowship Church of Tennessee, Illinois. My prayer is that we never lose sight of the hand of God in all of this and that we are able to clearly see the path of the righteous growing brighter and brighter until the full day when our Lord comes to catch us up to him to live with him forever in glory.
Saying all of that I have some news. I was inadvertently exposed to someone who has since tested positive for COVID-19. So I have been self-quarantining the last few days and will be tested on December 16.
Our board met Monday (December 14, 2020) and along with taking care of normal church business set some wise, protective measures in motion for us. They decided (and I agree) that considering the time of the year and our unique circumstances that we should cancel services for the next two Sundays—December 20 and 27.
We will have “YouTube” church. We will go back to the plan we implemented earlier in the year during the shutdown, and I will record our service on Friday morning (December 18) for the December 20 service and Thursday morning (December 24) for the December 27 service. This will allow me to have everything ready to go so that we can all have “Sunday church” on those respective weeks.
I will be burning DVDs for those who do not access the service on YouTube, so please let me know if you need a DVD and are not already on my DVD route.
Now for a personal note. If you are like me, this makes you sad. Our services have been such a blessing from God; the joy of seeing one another and worshiping together. The amazing, Holy Spirit given, spirit of unity and harmony of true brothers and sisters in Christ. So I have had to bow my heart before our Mighty God who knows all and who knows best for his people.
Here is the thing. This should make us sad, but let’s do this. Let’s bow before God and allow the Holy Spirit of God to turn our sadness to joy.
In the Love of Jesus our Savior,
Pastor Dave
• (Psalm 79:13 NLT) Then we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will thank you forever and ever, praising your greatness from generation to generation.
• (Psalm 95:6–7a NIV) Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; 7 for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.
• (Psalm 100:3 ESV) Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
• (Proverbs 4:18 ESV) But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.
