Food provided for Dean Jefferson family

Hi Everyone,

As you know many things has changed over this past year with the pandemic altering our plans and procedures in dramatic ways. And you probably know that we have made the good, safe decision to not have any meals at the church until further notice. So it is very regrettable for us that we are not able to provide what we love to do and do so well, and that is, to provide a grieving family a place of sanctuary, friendship and good food after a funeral. How we would love to do this for the Jefferson family.

And maybe we will get that opportunity to be more involved later this year, but for now we wanted you to know that we are providing some food for the family and, of course, our many prayers. Here is what we will be delivering to them:

  • Faith Fellowship is providing 24 chicken salad sliders and chips, halos (tangerines) at Dean Jefferson’s house for Friday. Also we will be providing paper plates, bowls, hot/cold cups, soup spoons for Saturday. Saturday food provided will be white chicken chili, crackers, sour cream and cheese.

Just a reminder that the service for Dean is Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 11 am. It is outside so all are invited.

What a blessing you are Faith Fellowship Church of Tennessee, Illinois!

Sincerely,
Pastor Dave

See you there! Of course, the best way to not be late is to be in church that morning, right?

Sincerely,
Pastor Dave

There Is No Fear in Love – 1 John 4:7-5:5 – January 3, 2021 – VIDEO & MESSAGE AUDIO

Please note my apologies for not having a clip from the sanctuary camera at the beginning of the video. I had it there and must have inadvertently deleted as I was editing the video. I know several of you really appreciate being able to see everyone at that time, but it would have been very time-consuming to go back and redo.

However there is a little good news. If you are patient, you will see your brothers and sisters in Christ later in the video. Thanks for understanding and thanks for all the good feedback you direct my way.
Sincerely,
Dave Scott, Director of Filming & Video Production 🙂

SERVICES TOMORROW
January 3, 2021
Regular Time – 10:00 am

Faith Fellowship Church of Tennessee, Illinois

Greetings to You,

We are in a new year and our opportunity to bring our Lord praise, glory and honor has never been greater (and possibly never more needed). The world we live in is lost in sin and desperate for hope and meaning and significance. And that is the good news that we have to bring to them.

So, brothers and sisters, let us continue in faith to be who and what God desires for us in his eternal plan and purpose. We have absolutely every reason to be filled with hope to overflowing based on the promises of God and our sure foundation in Jesus Christ.

In the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Pastor Dave Scott

May you be richly blessed on the path of Jesus Son of God!

Here is this week’s bulletin.

  • (Romans 1:16–17 ESV) For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, The righteous shall live by faith.”
  • (Hebrews 10:37–39 ESV) For, “Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay; 38 but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” 39 But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.
  • (2 Corinthians 5:7 ESV) For we walk by faith, not by sight.
