It’s a most wonderful time of the year … and we are still planning on having church this Sunday …

Hi Everyone,

What a wonderful time of the year to remember the birth of Jesus Son of God, Son of the Most High, our Savior. We pray you will be safe and blessed this holiday weekend. Thankfully, that even as bitter cold as it is today, that it is not as bad as was first forecast.

I just went over to the church and it looks like we will still be able to have church as planned on Sunday (Christmas Day). The weather is supposed to break tomorrow (Saturday) and be sunny and then a little warmer on Sunday. Please only join us for worship if you feel safe in doing so. We will have our morning worship service at the normal time – 10:00 am – for whoever can make it. And, of course, no evening service.

In the Love of Jesus Son of God, Son of the Most High,
Pastor Dave

  • (Luke 1:31–33 LSB) And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and there will be no end of His kingdom.
  • (Luke 1:35 LSB) The angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God.”
