Hello Everyone,
Well, for the first time in weeks we actually look forward to church without having to wait for the weather report on Saturday. Here is our bulletin for the week. At 12:45 pm the temperature is a balmy 15 degrees. Yay!
Sincerely,
Pastor Dave

Hello to You,
Here is the link to the message I had mentioned. Excellent. Even though this was given to pastors at a pastors’ conference, it is very relevant to all.
No Prayer Meeting – January 30, 2019
Hi Everyone,
Have already called our regulars but with the high Wednesday being -8 and the low -18 we are not going to have prayer meeting this week.
The fifty degrees they are forecasting for Sunday can’t get here fast enough.
Sincerely,
Pastor Dave
PS Be safe and careful walking and driving. Brrrrr…….

Annual meeting “in the books” …
Thanks for praying!
Dear Everyone,
Thanks for praying that we could finally meet again and … that we could have our annual meeting. What a blessing it was to be able to get together to worship and to prepare for the new year with our annual meeting. Thanks to all who braved the weather. Great time at our fellowship dinner also.
Sincerely,
Pastor Dave
Still open for “business” … God’s, that is …
Hi Everyone,
Another update on sidewalks and parking lots at church. Steve has been over to the church this morning. Everything is looking very good. The plan is to have our meetings as scheduled. This depends of course on having a quorum for our annual meeting.
Again … if you do not feel safe getting out, please stay home. The annual meeting will wait.
Sincerely, Pastor Dave

“ALL SYSTEMS GO” – services tomorrow at FFC … Yay!
Hello Everyone,
And thanks for your prayers. It looks like the Lord is going to allow us to have services tomorrow. That is great. The plan is to have everything except evening service.
1. Sunday School @ 9:30 am
2. Morning Worship @ 10:30 am
3. Fellowship dinner shortly after MW
4. Annual meeting after fellowship dinner
5. No evening service
Please pray that we will have a quorum so we can conduct the Lord’s business for our church and step into the new year.
If you need a ride or assistance in some other way, please let Pastor Dave or someone else on the board know.
Sincerely,
Pastor Dave
No church tomorrow – January 20, 2019
All services canceled for January 20, 2019
Hi Everyone,
No church tomorrow—January 20, 2019. Lord willing, we will have services next week and our annual meeting. This is a first for me; church canceled for two Sundays in a row but it is the best decision with the high winds and the bitter cold. Hopefully you got stocked up on supplies before the weather hit. If you need help, please call me (Pastor Dave) or one of the other board members.
Here are our announcements for this week:
- All church services canceled tomorrow.
- Next Sunday am: Hebrews 12 study.
- Next Sunday: Please join us for our fellowship dinner and then our annual meeting following the morning worship service.
- No Sunday evening service next week
Congratulations to Dave & Jenny!
- Abigail Lida Crabb is home and doing very well. And so is mommy!
- Meals for the Crabb family: Please talk to Kerry if you would like to help with this opportunity to help Dave, Jenny and their three girls. Best time to deliver meals is late afternoon.
- February 2: It’s a girl! Baby Shower for Jenny Crabb at Kerry Scott’s house @ 3pm on the first Saturday in February. Please see your invitation for more information.
Sincerely,
Pastor Dave
Wednesday prayer meeting at the Scott’s

Hi Everyone,
With the heavy snow and more to come, we are not going to worry about having everything cleared at the church before Wednesday prayer meeting. So we (Pastor Dave & Kerry) are inviting you to our house for prayer meeting. We have plenty of room in the driveway for eight cars anyway. Make sure as you come that you pull up to the garage and close to the car in front of you; this should accommodate everyone. Don’t worry about blocking us in; we’re not going anywhere.
I will have the fireplace going, and we will serve hot tea and decaf coffee. (I am going to tell Kerry not to feed you because then you will keep coming back; kind of like feeding a stray.) But other than that please join us in the coziness of the fireplace and the warmth of our great God in a time of prayer and fellowship.
Sincerely,Pastor Dave
PS If you need access to the church, I have cleared the sidewalks and the steps and porch area. But there are no parking spaces cleared.
