We loved him as husband and dad and brother and friend \u2026 on this earth,
One day in Christ we will love him forever \u2026 in glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was joyful and kind and loving \u2026 His smile showed us all of that and more \u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was \u201ca character\u201d \u2026 he was strong \u2026 He would squeeze your hand with that vise-like grip \u2026 and smile \u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A fun-loving, somewhat ornery smile \u2026 as he made you yip \u2026 His joy of life was contagious \u2026 And you would feel joy when he finally loosened his grip \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yes \u2026 that is our poet and farmer and craftsman \u2026 and character \u2026 The one we loved \u2026 the one who loved us \u2026He was thoughtful and responsible and dependable \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You could count on him being there \u2026 But now he\u2019s not here \u2026 he\u2019s there \u2026 with Christ in glory \u2026 Kind of confusing my words I know \u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But here is what is not confusing \u2026 As the poet and farmer and craftsman knows \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can count on Christ to bring you to glory \u2026 If you bow your heart while still here below \u2026 And believe him for redemption and forgiveness of sins \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because \u2026 well \u2026 who knows when it is our time to \u2026 you know \u2026 So follow the lead of the poet and farmer and craftsman \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And believe in the Savior \u2026 And then like him \u2026 when it\u2019s your turn to go \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do what he did \u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
