Would you pray for our country this week and give thanksgiving for the grace that God has indeed shed on us?<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">America! America!<br \/>\nGod shed His grace on thee,<br \/>\nAnd crown thy good with brotherhood,<br \/>\nFrom sea to shining sea!<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>(1 Peter 2:13\u201317 ESV) Be subject for the Lord\u2019s sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, 14 or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. 15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. 16 Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. 17 Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.<\/li>\n<li>(1 Timothy 2:1\u20132 ESV) First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.<\/li>\n<li>(Romans 13:1 ESV) Let every person be subject to the governing authorities.
