Just ask them.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>(<span lang=\"en-US\">Revelation 3:17a<\/span> ESV)<span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing &#8230;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But we get a different impression as we read the words of the Amen, the <span lang=\"en-US\">faithful and true witness, the beginning of God\u2019s creation.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>(Revelation 3:17 ESV) &#8230;\u00a0not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our glorified Lord calls them wretched. We could also have named them the pitiful church, the rich but poor church, the blind church or the naked church.<\/p>\n<p>We even could have named this church the Goldilocks Church as they liked their spiritual porridge not too hot, not too cold, but just right. They would have called it balanced; Jesus called it lukewarm.\u00a0Which brings me to another name for that church. The &#8220;I Would Spit You Out of My Mouth&#8221; Church.
