Why would I say this? Because the gospel is the only thing that makes dead people alive. If your gospel does not make you alive, then your gospel is false. You still have a gospel, just not the one that saves and makes you alive.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s2\">The life of a church<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> is not determined by activity, size, location, demographics, denomination, programs or worship style. <\/span><span class=\"s2\">There is one deciding factor\u2014the gospel.<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> Dead or alive? Works or grace?<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> If the church has the gospel wrong, then the church is dead.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>&#8212;\u00a02<\/b><\/span><b> <\/b><span class=\"s3\"><b>Choices <\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><b>1<\/b><\/span><b> <\/b><span class=\"s3\"><b>Gospel &#8212;<\/b><\/span><\/h1>\n<h3 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Choice<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b> #1: Grace<br \/>\n<\/b><\/span><b>Choice<\/b><span class=\"s2\" style=\"font-size: 1.14286rem;\"><b> #2: Works<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Which Gospel?<br \/>\n<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><b>Grace <\/b><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>or<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><b> Works | Life <\/b><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>or<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><b> Death | Heaven <\/b><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>or<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><b> Hell<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s2\"><b>Works are works,<\/b> <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s3\">whether one work such as water baptism<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> or many works<\/span>, it\u2019s all the same, an aberration from the gospel, a deviation from grace, whether Hinduism, Humanism, Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s3\">When a person filters the teaching of Scripture through the natural mind<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, he or she <\/span><span class=\"s3\">will always choose works over grace<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> \u2026 because grace comes from the mind of God and the concept of works comes from the mind of fallen humans. <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s2\">(Ephesians 2:8\u20139 ESV) For by grace you have been saved through faith.
