Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><sup>10<\/sup> <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><sup>11<\/sup> <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><sup>12<\/sup> <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><sup>13<\/sup> <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\"><sup>14<\/sup> <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><sup>15<\/sup> <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><sup>16<\/sup> <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><sup>17<\/sup> <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\"><sup>18<\/sup> <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><sup>19<\/sup> <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, \u201cVengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.\u201d <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><sup>20<\/sup> <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">To the contrary, \u201cif your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.\u201d <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><sup>21<\/sup> <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(Romans 12:9\u201321 ESV) 9 Let love be genuine.
