Chapters nine through eleven speak to Israel\u2019s current and past relationship with God. Paul anguishes as he describes their spiritual status. They had it all as God\u2019s chosen people. Nine unique, God-given privileges which Israel squandered.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Things had gotten so bad that they did not even know when their Messiah came to Earth.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">\u201cHe came to his own, and his own people did not receive him\u201d (John 1:11 ESV).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">They did not receive him because they had a really bad habit of not listening to God.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">So how do we do that?
